All-on-4

+ More
  • The All-on-4 dental implant treatment was designed by Nobel Biocare, and is used to replace an entire upper or lower set of teeth. The procedure creates a permanent prosthesis by using four dental implants that act as an anchor for a bridge or overdenture of 12-to-14 teeth.

The dentist performs or examines diagnostic tests (such as panoramic X-rays and a CT scan) to assess the patient's jaw bone density. These scans are then often followed up by computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (known as CAD/CAM) processes that plan the All-on-4 procedure and allow the dentist to precisely insert the dental implants into the jaw.

Dental Crown

+ More
  • A crown can be used to save a damaged tooth by completely encircling it. In order to attach a crown, the tooth is reduced to a stump which the crown can be cemented onto. Many clinics specialize in natural looking, tooth-colored materials, and patients can choose from a range of materials to suit their budget.

  • 1 weeks

The time required depends on how long is needed to create the crown or crowns in the laboratory. Clinics with an in-house lab are usually quicker.

Dental Implant

+ More
  • A dental implant is a small screw-like device that is placed into the jawbone, to replace a natural tooth. The implant acts like a tooth's roots, and over time the dental implant becomes fused to the natural bone, making it stable.

  • 2 - 3 days

The first trip usually takes a few days. The second trip may take longer, depending on how long it takes for the crown(s) or bridge to be created.

More about available treatments at Dental Fraternity

Dental Fraternity provides a range of dental procedures, although the clinic specializes in dental implants and works to provide All-on-4s and regular implants using the Nobel Biocare brand. Also popular amongst patients at Dental Fraternity are esthetic prosthetics and surgical extractions. The clinic also provides a complete dental smile redesign, using Digital Smile Design (DSD), which allows the clinic to create a complete visualization of the patient’s face with the new implants. Patients also have the opportunity to try a plastic mock-up of the new veneers and crowns, a temporary effect to ensure that the design is right for them.
