Musculoskeletal oncology is a field of medicine that deals with benign and malignant tumors as well as medical issues linked to the bones, joints and soft tissues such as fat, muscle, fascia, bone, ligaments, tendons, nerves.
The clinic provides surgical procedures such as arthrodesis, arthroscopy, bone biopsy, bone grafting procedures, drainage of abscess and infections, foot surgery for adults. Hand reconstruction, joint aspiration, knee ligament repair, and limb salvage operations are also offered.

Dr. Saminathan Suresh Nathan leads the Limb Salvage and Revision Arthroplasty Surgery. After 20 years in Government Practice, he left NUH to establish a service dedicated to limb salvage and revision arthroplasty surgery in the Mount Elizabeth Medical Center. He is the former Chairman of the Clinical Competency Committee in the National Healthcare Group residency program, and is skilled in general orthopedic procedures such as primary joint replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee, as well as arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Saminathan is associated with the National University of Singapore as an Adjunctive Associate Professor in Orthopedic Surgery and contributes to research and undergraduate education there.
