More about available treatments at Nanoori hospital
As well as the centers for joints and spinal treatment, Nanoori Hospital also has specialized physical therapy and exercise therapy centers. Patients who suffer with spinal or joint problems but are not candidates for surgery can relieve pain by exercising and building muscle in a controlled environment. Patients receive rehabilitation after their surgeries, with treatment provided by modern technology such as equipment for enhancing spinal muscle strength and extracorporeal shock wave therapy. The KNX-7000 treats patients with zero-gravity decompression therapy.
Where possible, the hospital prefers to use minimally invasive surgery, and doctors are skilled in the examination and treatment of joints using arthroscopy.
All doctors and surgeons at Nanoori Hospital are considered to be experts in the areas of joint and spinal diseases. The hospital focuses on medical training and has close relationships with several overseas health centers. Many of their staff partake in programmes abroad and foreign students come to the hospital to study and foster new relationships.
The staff believe that everyone should have access to healthcare and they treat 30 underprivileged people annually at no cost, providing free joint treatment and surgery. It also provides scholarships to students with passion but who are unable to afford to study medicine.

I am an American living in Seoul. I had shoulder surgery and follow up physical therapy at Nanoori from Feb - Jun 2015. The medical care is fast and efficient. At first visit I had evaluation, x-ray, MRI, care plan and scheduled future surgery within 3 hours of arriving. Surgery was successful. Hospital stay was enjoyable. Follow up visits always had very little waiting. Staff and physicians are always friendly and helpful. I will use this hospital again if the need arises.
