The IMED Levante, (formerly known as Hospital de Levante), is 18,000m2 in size and is fitted with 108 hospital rooms, 4 suites, and 14 ICU beds. The hospital was the first of the IMED Group to open and has 2 other clinics which are IMED Teulada and IMED Torrevieja, as well as a second hospital IMED Elche, and intends to open 2 additional branches, IMED Valencia and IMED Murcia.

Aqualnadia is a popular waterpark in Benidorm and is located 1km away from the hospital. Also within 2km of the hospital is the marine animal park Mundomar.

Some patients will have dissolvable stitches, whereas others return after 7 days to have them removed. Patients who have open surgery will need a longer recovery time.

Dr. Eduardo Revuelta graduated from University of Zaragoza in 1979 and further specializes in general and gastroenterology surgery. Dr. Revuelta is an expert in endocrine and laparoscopic surgery and is a former honorary professor at the University of Alicante.
Dr. Revuelta has a special interest in cancer surgery, particularly in thyroid, colon, and endocrine tumors. Dr. Revuelta speaks English and Spanish.
Dr. Clara Oliver Nevarrete graduated from the University of Zaragoza in 1998 and specialized in cardiology at the University General Hospital of Alicante in 2004.

Dr. Antonio Moya graduated from the Miguel Hernandez University and specialiized in gynecology at the University of General Hospital Alicante. Dr. Moya then graduated from the University of Valencia with a master's degree in human reproduction.
Dr. Moya is the head of the reproductive medicine department at IMED hospitals. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Gynecology and obstetrics (SEGO), the Spanish Society of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (AEPCC), and the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause (AEEM).
Dr. Maria Fe Casado Redonodo graduated from the University of Navarra in 1995 with degree in medicine and surgery and from the University of Madrid in 2006 with a master’s degree in hospital management. Dr. Maria Fe Casado Redondo is the medical director of IMED Levate.
Dr. Hector Mirasol Brull graduated from the University of Valencia in 1983 with a degree in medicine and surgery. He then graduated from the Barcelona Autonomous University in 1986 with a master's degree in biostatics, before studying with the Miguel Hernandez University and graduating in 1992 with a degree in geriatric medicine. Dr. Mirasol Brull is the corporate medical director of IMED Levante.
Dr. Vicente Mainar graduated from the University of Valencia with a medical degree, from Miguel Hernandez University with a doctor of medicine degree, and from University of Alicante with a master's degree in health economics.
Dr. Mainar specializes in cardiology and is the head of the hemodynamics unit of the cardiology department at the University of Alicante. He is a member of the Board of Catheterization, the Spanish Society of Cardiology, and is a chairman of the Section of Interventional Cardiology and the Valencian Society of Cardiology. Dr. Mainar has published 22 scientific papers in international journals and has overseen 12 different clinical trials.

Dr. Victor Martinez Lopez received a bachelor of medicine degree from the University of Valencia in 1992 and specialized in in internal medicine at the General Hospital Elda between 1994 and 1999. Dr. Martinez Lopez has been the head of internal medicine at IMED Levante since 2004 and speaks English, French, and Spanish.
Dr. Alejandro Garcia graduated with a medical degree from the University of Valencia in 1999 and specializes neurology. Dr. Garcia is the president of the Epilepsy Association in Alicante and has expertise in clinical neurology and epilepsy, and in ultrasonic imaging of the nervous system.

Imed- Levante was excellent. They were very friendly and caring, and efficient. The facilities were modern and appropriate. I travelled from Chile to Imed.
Olga Zhukovskaya and Ruben del Campo, the International Program Managers who welcomed me on my arrival, gave me excellent support. They were friendly, knowledgeable and always accompanied me on my visits and post surgical therapy, very professional. Dr. Ferragut, who operated on me was very kind, personable, and an excellent doctor in whom you trust immediately. Always willing to explain and answer questions before and after surgery. The operation, although I had complications and potential risks, was a success and I had a rapid recovery. I can only recommend it.
All this was organized for me by MEDIGO, who I am very grateful for, and am particularly grateful for Don Giovanni Bono who followed up on my case, and for being the ''link'’ between me and the hospital since I decided to fly from Chile to Benidorm. MEDIGO handled my case so efficiently - full support, phone calls, reception of exams and X-ray ... etc, that gave me a lot of confidence. I can't recommend them enough.
