October 2017Treatment was certainly at or above the level of dermatological treatment I have experienced in the US at a fraction of the cost generally incurred. As a result, more could be accomplished within a reasonable health care budget. My only complaint is that attempting to book followup through the hospital's web site produced no result. I think that they need to pay greater attention to their website.

May 2017I had a colonoscopy procedure performed and the Doctor spoke perfect English and did a great job explaining everything and answering my questions. The procedure went smoothly and was no different than in the United States except there seemed to be less red tape and it was considerably less expensive. My only negative was the prescription medications were more expensive in the hospital than they were from a pharmacy outside the Hospital. I plan on going back for my next procedure when the time comes.

March 2015The same annual checkup i got at Ram, is done at McCormick Hospital--Ram charges 15,700 baht, McCormick charges 3500 baht!! The doctor was impressive. The cashiers were pain in ass. My international insurance had sent them a pre-authorization a week ahead of my visit--alerting them i was coming. Cashiers tried to make me pay cash repeatedly. I called my case manager in USA while at cashiers--and he emailed them another pre-authorization. They could not find either of them. If i had not kept my email from case manager for pre-authorization, i would have been forced to pay cash. So i am hesitant about going back again. Between the exorbitant cost, and the administration not paying attention to pre-authorization contacts from insurance--i am not sure i will return.
