Medical concierge
Planned treatment abroad, organised from A to Z.
For insurers, governments and organisations sending patients abroad for care. We find the right hospital and specialist, agree the treatment plan, organise travel and interpretation, and negotiate and settle the bill. One case manager stays with the patient throughout.
How it works
One medical case manager along the way.
01
Choosing where to go.
The patient doesn't need to know where to be treated. Our medical team proposes hospitals and specialists suited to the case.
02
Preparing the treatment.
We share the medical records, agree the treatment plan with the hospital and book the appointments.
03
Travel and stay.
Flights, accommodation, transfers and medical transport where needed, for the patient and anyone travelling with them.
04
During treatment.
An interpreter on site and a case manager who keeps you and the family informed.
05
Discharge and settlement.
We arrange follow-up care at home and settle the final bill with the hospital.
What we organise
Everything around the treatment.
We organise everything around the treatment, from the first appointment to follow-up at home, and send you one case file when it's done.
Provider matching.
We select the facility and align with the treating physicians on the plan before the patient travels.
Medical transport.
Air evacuation and ground transfers to and from care, when the patient can't travel on their own.
Flights and accommodation.
Travel and a place to stay for the patient and anyone accompanying them.
Interpretation.
An interpreter on site for consultations, and translation of medical documents.
Follow-up at home.
Continued follow-up care once the patient is back, with their reports passed to their own doctor.
Settlement.
We negotiate the costs upfront and settle every provider invoice, so nothing lands on the patient.
How we work with you
One person, start to finish.
One point of contact.
The same case manager for you, the patient and the family, from the first call until the final invoice is settled.
Hospitals we know.
We work with hospitals we have experience with, including JCI-accredited centres where available.
In the patient's language.
Our team speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Russian, Turkish, Mandarin and Farsi.
In practice
Who sends patients to us.
Treatment that isn't available at home.
A health ministry needs specialist treatment it can't provide locally for a group of patients. We propose suitable hospitals, agree treatment plans, and manage each patient from travel to settlement.
A member needs complex surgery abroad.
The member has no idea where to go. We find the right specialist, organise the trip and the treatment, and settle the bill with the hospital.
Not sure the treatment plan is right? Many cases start with a second opinion.
