Patients & families

You've been given a diagnosis. Now you need to know what to do next.

Get a second opinion from a leading specialist and, if you choose, treatment abroad. We organise everything, from your first records to the flight home.

One patient, start to finish

Leila wasn't sure about her spine surgery. So she asked for a second opinion.

Leila, 52, lives in Casablanca. Her surgeon recommended a spinal fusion. Before saying yes, she wanted another specialist to look at her case.

A woman on a video call with a doctor at home

Leila took the opinion back to her own surgeon. Had she wanted treatment abroad, we would have organised that too.

  1. 1

    She reaches out.

Leila fills in a short form. A Medigo doctor calls her back, listens, and explains how a second opinion works. No obligation.

  2. 2

    A doctor prepares her case.

We collect her MRI scans and reports, have them translated, and define the exact question the specialist should answer.

  3. 3

    She chooses the specialist.

We shortlist spine specialists from leading university hospitals and accredited centres. Leila picks who reviews her case.

  4. 4

    The opinion.

She receives a written report, or talks it through with the specialist by video. It confirms she needs surgery, but recommends a less invasive technique.

  5. 5

    Her questions, answered.

Once she has read the opinion, Leila can ask follow-up questions. We translate the report so she can share it with her own surgeon.
